Amnesty International are a worldwide charity, based in London, that promotes activism with the goal of ending human rights abuses across the world. Their requirements of their website are very varied but can be summarised as promoting online activism and the proton of the Amnesty International message and brand.

We have been engaged with Amnesty International since May 2010 and we work in partnership with their experienced internal development team to produce new functionality, enhancements and bug fixes to their Drupal based website (http://www.amnesty.org). The Amnesty International website is very complex as they seek to push the boundaries of what can be achieved online in order to attain their goals. We provide additional development resources and the work we perform consists of a large amount of bespoke module development, theming and research into other contributed modules. We were recently involved in the launch of several new features on the website to celebrate Amnesty Internationals 50th birthday. this included a bespoke admin interface and back end configuration to enable the production of what Amnesty term widgets. these widgets allow actions (content) hosted on the international website to be embedded on 3rd party sites and the action that they promote to be taken directly from the host site.
