The Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) delivers trusted, high quality numerical computing software and high performance computing (HPC) services. Their website is primarily used as an information portal and a place to download the latest version of their software.

Webcurl worked closely with the designers of NAG to migrate their Microsoft ASP website to the Drupal framework . A big challenge whilst implementing the site was the data migration element. NAG have been in existence since 1970 and since then they have published many thousands of articles and manuals to their website. We managed to organise their existing documents into six distinct content types and successfully import over 3000 items.
As part of the on-going process we have automated the addition of new content when software release information is generated by their back office systems.

Nag have subscribed to our support services and as part of this service we are always striving to improve their site. We are currently in talks to migrate their search engine over to Apache Solr and integrate Drupal and non Drupal content into one easy searchable entity.
