CRMUG – Dynamics CRM

There is a very strong Microsoft Dynamics user group in the UK and they have regular meet ups not too far from Oxford – so Webcurl went along to the latest meeting at Microsoft’s Reading offices.

Microsoft’s flagship CRM product Dynamics 365 is most commonly thought of as a business tool for targeting sales so when we attended the last CRMUG meeting and saw a round table group discussing Dynamics and its use for not for profit groups we were first in the queue.

From big players in the market like Water Aid and the British Red Cross to smaller charities such as The Donkey Sanctuary many stakeholders participated in the meeting. Having admitted I no longer worked for a charity but for a supplier keen to better understand our clients I was welcomed with open arms.

The talk around the room was open and frank and I for one learned a lot about client needs and how each one had adapted Dynamics to meet their needs.

I must applaud the CRMUG and group organiser Richard Collings for setting up this group and I understand that it is soon to be a regular feature of the quarterly meetings.

If you are a charity looking to learn more I’d encourage you give us a call and we’ll get you invited along to the next round table meeting.

Update - to take the conversation further we have a LinkedIn group
